Organisation of the Project

Within this international established IP, experts from science, planning and practical work of city and regional planning, soil sciences, nature protection from 6 European countries, will collect their comprehensive experiences for effective soil protection. The work up of scientific subjects leads to an essential significance as a basis for political decisions. The results will be transferred as a learning strategy, which shall help to increase the awareness about soils as the International Union of Soil Sciences in Vienna is recommending, and to put the issue of soils permanently on the international Agenda.

This IP is encouraging also an intercultural dialogue and equality of the potentials in addition to the objectives for attaining sustainable development and an intensive integration of Eastern European universities in scientific activities. At the Kick off meeting the staff team and the academic participants were sharing their intentions and were building the social architecture of the IP . The framework of the IP shows that the whole project is embedded into a larger vision and has especially an own culture.
